I wish this was better integrated with hubdoc, I'm giving projects a show, but this part of it is so slow... one at a time, categorising multiple recent expenses into projects...

today there is no payroll settings, its just pay run settings and no tracking category to set in payrolls

I am trying to decide between tracking categories and projects to see how different areas of our business are performing, so we can make proactive business decisions. We need to track a pretty large number of different options (home user, business customer, contract customer, computer repairs or new sales, phone repair viability, shop costs [to keep track that keeping a shopfront is still best] etc etc. Tracking categories makes sense, but is so limited in number, projects is unlimited but is it designed to work to track overall things like this? You did say you could make projects that are for different customers... Anyone have any experience in this kind of use?

Do you have a video that explains how we as an employer actually pay the withholding tax for our employees? I mean how do we do it? Do we go to the ato office and give them a bunch of cash?

Good information in a simple way

Hi, I added my bank accounts and started the automatic feeds. I made an error and started the transactions import starting from June 1 but i should have started from my tax year which is 5 April. Is there anyway I can get the feeds to import for April and May? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I am thinking in purchasing Xero but have a few questions. I have 2 companies which come under the same umbrella so would I be able to have 2 different bank accounts set up on xero and would the software separate the two different bank accounts when it produces the figures?

Really good video. I would though like to see a sequel where you give us a a step by step walk through if someone starting a businesses and going through the process of making and paying their payg obligations. Like a short story

I have set up the payroll and checked the setup 10 times over. I don't get the default assign leave type box to click on. I get the assign leave box only, however, in the drop-down menu, I don't have the option for annual or sick/carers leave to apply. They are set up however simply don't appear to be applied. Why is that so?
